The component catalogue answers tasks like "start a 230 V fridge" or "two days off-grid" with matching parts and why each fits, filters by system voltage, power, capacity, chemistry and pure sine, and compares up to four parts in one table. Batteries, inverters, chargers, power stations and appliances each have a category page with a short buying guide.
Each page now shows how long a battery or power station runs common loads, how long a charger needs to fill your bank, which appliances an inverter runs, the price per kWh, per 100 W or per amp compared with similar parts, and how many VoltPlan diagrams use the part. Calculator recommendations link to these pages, and My Diagrams asks you to rate the parts you use.
Every inverter, charger and 12 V appliance in the component catalogue now lists its current at rated power, the fuse to use and the cable cross-section for 1, 2, 3 and 5 m runs, with a link into the wire gauge calculator. Each page also suggests alternatives of the same type, closest rating first, and the catalogue cards show the key ratings at a glance. Batteries are listed by capacity in Ah and Wh instead of a power figure.
