Safety notes for this component
- Vmp is about 31 V (Voc 36.5 V): use an MPPT controller, not PWM, on a 12 V battery. Renogy asks for ≥ 40 V PV input per panel in series.
- A controller limited to 50 V PV input (e.g. DCC50S) takes one panel per input; two in series exceed it.
- PV fuse = Isc × 1.56 rounded up, never above the 15 A max series fuse; one fuse per parallel string and a blocking diode per parallel branch.
- Leave a 10 cm ventilation gap under the panel on RV roofs.
